Baby Notes is an early childhood music program that is completely devised and customised by me. With a background as a Kindermusik teacher, this experience has illuminated for me just how much musical wisdom can be taught at the very start of life! Each of my workshops will focus on establishing the basics of music i.e rhythm, pitch, instrument recognition, singing, rhymes, and movement. All these elements are explored through group play activities appropriate for your baby/ child’s developmental age. Workshops include live music, not just pre recorded, with a focus on classical, folk, jazz, and world music. Both child and parent or caregiver attend the group together, as at this age a child learns best when they have the support and safety of their caregiver right by their side. Each workshop is held during the school holidays in Hazelbrook, the duration is 1.5h with a small brak for morning tea.

with a wealth of performance experience and training from all over the world I am very excited to open my studio doors to take enrollments for private voice students. My background is as a classically trained Bel Canto soprano, so my focus really is classical repertoire, however don’t let this intimidate you! I love working with students of all ages (no younger than 16yrs) and levels, and I specialise in building strong vocal techniques that will last you a lifetime. I am very passionate about helping students overcome problematic technique habits, vocal health/fatigue issues, and performance anxiety management skills.

They say that music is the international language, and if this is so the best way to learn this language is via the piano. Piano is a great way to start you or your child’s musical journey, as the piano uses the full treble and bass staff so you learn to read the full staff at the start of your studies. My focus when teaching piano is that I tailor each lesson to suit my student’s needs. For a developing child piano helps eye hand coordination, reading, mathematics, and concentration not to mention giving the gift of music that lasts a lifetime. I am also experienced in working with adult beginners or someone coming back to piano after many years break.
